The Games Area has a new lounge space - the Rec Room!
The Rec Room, located just off the main Games Area lounge, is your go-to spot for board games, studying, and relaxing. Students are welcome to use the space during the Games Area's open hours whenever it's not reserved. Whether you're looking to unwind with friends or focus on your studies, the Rec Room is here for you.
Interested in reserving the Rec Room?
The Rec Room can accommodate up to 56 people and offers flexible configurations to suit your needs. You can reserve the Rec Room for an additional cost by selecting it when you book two or more bowling lanes or it's included in the Full Facility Reservation (FFR). We highly recommend reserving the Rec Room with your bowling lane reservation if you plan to serve food or host a party. Simply add the Rec Room to your request when filling out the reservation forms.
Rates
The Rec Room requires the reservation of a minimum of 2 bowling lanes and must be reserved for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Registered Student Organization (RSO) or Sports Club
$50 for the first 2 hours, $25 for each additional hour - Campus Department
$70 for the first 2 hours, $35 for each additional hour - Non-University
$90 for the first 2 hours, $45 for each additional hour

Room Arrangements
The following graphic and text combinations are provided to show the possible furniture arrangements in the Rec Room The chairs in the Rec Room do not have arms.
Family Style with Rounds
This layout consists of a combination of four round tables with eight chairs each and two rows of tables with chairs on each side to maximize seating. This is generally used for large groups with family style eating. Seats 48.
Family Style
This layout consists of a combination of two rows of tables with chairs on each side and on both ends. This is generally used for large groups with family style eating. Seats 36.
Pods
This layout consists of a eight rectangular tables with five chairs each arranged in individual pods. Seats 40.
Rounds
This layout consists of four round tables set with eight chairs each. Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. Seats 32
