Description

Outdoor Adventures is proud to offer what we consider to be one of the most comprehensive rafting guide schools available. It consists of 12 classroom hours and eight on-river days spent camping and rafting on the South Fork American River. During this course, you will not only learn the fundamentals of whitewater rafting, but you will also become certified in Swift Water Rescue. Upon course completion, you will be able to guide commercial rafting trips for Outdoor Adventures and other rafting companies. This is a great way to spend your spring break, learn a fun new skill and make lifelong friends in the process. Participants must go through an application and interview process and must be able to attend all classroom and river sessions to be accepted into the school.
