Need Help Paying for a Trip?
Campus Recreation is excited to offer a fee waiver for students interested in participating in programming at any of our centers, made possible through a partnership with Amazon. Any current and active fee paying UC Davis student can apply for a fee waiver to enroll in classes at less than the usual cost. The application period for the winter quarter is currently open. Sierra Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is a great way to experience the Sierra Nevada mountain range, near Lake Tahoe during the winter! It's a beginner friendly sport that allows you see the majesty of this mountain range while the snow lights up the landscape.
Transportation and snowshoes are provided. Participants are responsible for their own personal gear and lunches.
Intro to Cross Country Skiing
Experience solitude and freedom exploring the snowy backcountry by learning the basics of cross country skiing. These trips are designed for the beginning cross-country skier and focus on easy terrain. Experienced and supportive instructors will begin with flat terrain and move on to moderate slopes as your skills progress.
Transportation, ski equipment, and instruction are provided. Participants are responsible for their own personal gear and lunches.
Trip Cancellation Policy
If you would like to cancel your spot on the trip, we can give you customer credit, which can be used toward another trip or gear that we rent out in our Rental Center. We can only issue a refund to your card if someone else takes your spot on the trip. There is a $10 transaction fee applied to all refunds. All registrations are considered final and customer credit can only be used at Outdoor Adventures.
